NEXO ePS8-EN54 8-inch Horn-Loaded 2-Way Installation Loudspeaker, Black

The NEXO ePS8-EN54 is a 2-way passive point source loudspeaker purpose-built for fixed installations that require EN54-24 fire certification, such as voice evacuation and life-safety sound systems. It pairs a high-excursion 8-inch LF driver with a 1.4-inch HF compression driver on NEXO's rotatable Asymmetrical Dispersion horn, delivering a maximum SPL of 128 dB from a compact, lightweight enclosure.

Frequency response extends from 80 Hz to 20 kHz (+6 dB), with a sensitivity of 100 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohm, and the cabinet accepts up to 570 W of recommended amplifier power. The rotatable horn provides +25°/-30° vertical and 50° to 100° horizontal asymmetrical coverage, allowing flexible aiming in installation environments.

Connections are made via two pairs of 5 mm pitch push-in cage clamp terminal blocks for simple in/out wiring. The enclosure is built from 15 mm thick birch plywood with a polyurethane coating and a galvanized grille, rated for operation from -40°C to 70°C, and ships with an IP cover for the connectors. The ePS8-EN54 carries a 5-year warranty.
